My Heart is Worn on My SleeveMy heart is worn on my sleeve.
People have easy access to my love,
             my care,
             my kindness.
Many people have tried to take it,
             but to no avail.
However, one brave soul managed to swipe it from me,
             and he didn't even realize it.
I took his heart from his sleeve that day, too.
Time passed, and we learned to live
             with each other's heart
             instead of our own.
We didn't mind it at all,
             but we still needed our own.
Then, on a whim,
             we broke them
             and exchanged halves.

My heart is worn on my sleeve.
But please, be
Time and PatienceFlowers do not begin as flowers.
First they are seeds,
Planted into the world.
It takes Time and Patience
to watch them grow from
A seed,
To a sprout,
To a bud,
To a flower.

Houses do not begin as houses.
They are a pile of materials,
Bricks,
Cement,
Beams,
Waiting to be molded into their destiny.
Time and Patience go into the craftsmanship,
And the pile goes from a pile
To a loving home.

Give me Time and Patience.
I will one day blossom into that flower,
I will one day be built into that house
That you know I will become.
What is love?Love is like freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies on a cool autumn's day. Its sweet aroma draws you in, its beauty tempting you.
More savory than that is when you take that first bite. It leaves you hooked and begging for more.
